Mistoffelees is a magical cat. He's not yet an adult, but not a kitten, and he hasn't quite grasped how to use his powers. His character is known as Quaxo until the song that introduces him as Mistoffelees. When Macavity kidnaps Old Deuteronomy, Mistoffelees is the one that brings him back. He loves attention and does many tricks to show off.

Mistoffelees has mysterious senses. He always knows when Grizabella is around. He knew Old Deuteronomy was coming, and ran off stage to help him. He may be good friends with Cassandra, Coricopat and Tantomile because they are all secretive and mysterious as well.

Mistoffelees may have a relationship with Victoria. Or they may be brother and sister. Or just close friends. There are many different opinions on this. Whatever they are, they are often seen together.
